It depends on how much work you can do yourself but something like $300-400 maybe. If you wait and scout for parts here and there it can be cheaper. I am just one of a few pilots here but I think we can all help out if you have questions. Are you thinking of the "regular" X-Wing pilot or might you be making an A,B or Y-Wing pilot?

Sorry, I did mean US dollars but since it takes awhile to collect all parts it will not feel like that much.. Right now there is a great helmet kit on sale on ebay. That can save you around 100 dollars. Just type "x-wing helmet kit" and it´s from a US member. 70 dollars and he have a few.

Yes there is alot of crap on those sites but this is from a RL member. There is better to plan ahead and check what is needed and the cost, Start looking for boots and a good flightsuit and the rest will follow! ;-)

Hahaha! Just like me! I was working on 4 costumes at the same time when I started but one of them are still informal. Take your time and don´t rush. It is better to do it "right" from the start and remember that a costume will never be 100% perfect. You will always want to make upgrades and changes but take the time you need and you will be pleased with the outfit/armor. As I said before, we are many who can help if you have any questions.
