Just a thread where we can post where to find resources for costuming.
I'll begin: There is a M/40 snow jacket on Tradera right now.

just a thought - when finding stuff that's not available on English speaking sites (such as ebay) maybe we should include search words for it too in the language needed? I must admit my Swedish/Finnish/Norwegian is a little rusty

I found an old battered Swedish Army backpack in the "Gift" shelf in the garbage room of my apartment block... I "harvested" eight buckles that are accurate (enough) for the X-wing pilot's chest box straps. Three buckles have a length of strapping still on them, and I got some additional strapping too. The straps look like the "Nato #7" straps that I had used on my pilot costume, only a bit more worn and thicker. I did not find any length that was long enough to make a continuous loop that go both over the head and behind the back, but I think there is enough for two pilots if you attach them to the back of the box ... and all this from a single backpack! Oh, how I wish I had made this find five years ago... Just let me know if you want a buckle and/or straps, and you can have one for free. The straps are "naturally weathered", so you may want to wash them (depending on what look you are going for. )

I visited a store in Stockholm for the Graffiti culture called Highlights. They have a large selection of spray paints in various colours, and the prices are good too: between 40 and 60 SEK for a 400 ml can. Many of their customers buy cans in bulk. They also have some other artists supplies and a selection of clothes. Two stores in Stockholm: 1) near Björns Trädgård, same stretch of street as the pub Kvarnen and 2) by the Sankt Erik-bridge (the Vasastan side). They also have a web store, shipping to Sweden only. And when I am writing about spray paint: Clas Ohlson has CRC-brand spray paint, but only white and black in matte and gloss. The "matte black" that I got is actually "satin", and that makes it perfect for blasters. (White is matte, though) Anyway. Clas Ohlson is in every Swedish town. Cans are sometimes behind the counter, so you may have to ask for them.

Casts of my Snowspeeder pilot wrist comm link will soon be available from a person on the main RL forum that is also offering Snowspeeder pilot jackets. I am in the process of making the moulds right now. I am having some small difficulty with the speaker grill - it is hard to avoid getting bubbles in the many tiny holes. A revised version of my sculpt for the Endor Commando wrist comm is currently at another person in the US to be moulded.
