So I have finally decided to make myself a Jedi outfit and was browsing around the internet to come up with ideas for it. This is one of the places I ended up so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Jedi is, in my oppinion, one of the most wonderful costumes in Rebel Legion, because you can really add a touch of your own!

I made a simple version a few years ago, sadly it's no longer in my possession though. I think it was the "easy" parts. Inner and outer tunic and the robe:) I'm looking forward to going deeper into it. I really like working with my hands and being creative. And it's been far too long since I really got into a bigger project.

Good choice on the Jedi and if you have tried making one before, the second try should be easier, if you need any help just let us know.

You all seem like a nice bunch:) I think I will have to dig through my Celebration VI photos this weekend for more inspiration to my costume. And also look at the guidelines for the Jedi outfit. Feels like there is soo much to take in:)

I'll join in on the welcoming! If you have trouble coming up with a design for your jedi, it's helpful to start with a brainstorm on style and colours. Some of us base our design on RPG characters. Others try to find inspiration in a theme, like a jedi who spends time in the forest or comes from a water world. Others again pick colours and design for what goes well with their body type. I even think we got one or two who stumbled upon a nice type of fabric, and decided to design their jedi around that If you need help, don't hesitate to ask!

Maybe I should do a short shuttle jump to the town next to mine that has a huge store of fabrics. Could give me some great ideas. I'm not sure in what end to begin though. At first I'm thinking I found the robe the easiest part last time I did it so maybe I should start there. Then again maybe I should do the more tricky parts at first and keep the simple to last when I'll probably be in a hurry to finish it off.

I find it nice to start from the inside and work my way out. Inner tunic first, then outer tunic, then tabs and obi, and lastly belt. That way I'm sure everything fits over each other. Pants and robe are not as important when it comes to sceduling. Just do them when you feel most like it

That's the purpose of this forum to share experience.
