I've been working on her for more than a year, and then, suddenly, she was done Took me long enough, but I think I'm finally getting an idea for my next costume projects What about you guys? What will your next costume be?

My next costume? I have to pick ONE?? I guess it'll be a Darth Nihilus, then. When I've slimmed down mu stomach enough to show it off, I'll go for an Aayla Secura.

I have more or less settled now for my next new SW project. I am going to upgrade both my tusken, with a new mask that I need to assemble, and the cancan-trooper, but those aren't new things. I'm going to keep it a secret though since I'm hoping to unveil it and enter it at the costume contest at Celebration Anaheim. Let's just say it will involve a lot of expensive fabric and at least two sewing techniques that I've never used before. This is also a costume that nobody else have done properly, so I'm hoping to be the first with it.
The coming months will be spent making 18th century clothing though.

Uuuh, I have a lot of ideas in my head, the only problem is to actually get them set in motion Well, might as well face it. My eternal project has been for a long time, Jaina Solo's Jedi tunic from the New Jedi Order. It's been a project of mine, that I thought I had finished like 3 years ago. But no, and I finally earlier this year descided to scrap the costume I had spent blood, sweat and tears on making, and start all over. I jut haven't started yet. But now that I finally have gotten my Green Jedi approved for RL, I can return to my pet peeves costume but I wouldn't have it any other way, cause she's my favorite character. Though I am a bid ... okay, maybe more than a bid excited to get to see the front covers of the upcoming "Sword of the Jedi" trilogy that starts coming out around next year, and see whether she finally gets a new outfit I can make And some time faaaaaar into the future, when I grow accostumbed to Work with the kind of fabric that I need for this, I'd like to make a Satele Shan costume, based on the SWTOR cinematics

I am eager to start making a costume of a character from Episode VII ... but so far absolutely nothing has been revealed about which characters are going to be in it. Not even anyone of "the big three" (Luke, Han, Leia) has been announced.

I wasn't sure which forum to type this in, but I suppose it doesn't hurt anyone if I'm cluttering this thread here a little bit. I'm not member, but having been in touch with lots of you people and seeing your at the events (especially seeing how happy you make other people in the events), I've been thinking about joining too. I have one special, very challenging costume project in my mind, but at my spare time level I think I'll have to shift that to the "long term" department. But for starters I was thinking about some alien Jedi, maybe Ki-Adi-Mundi or Kit Fisto instead. Just shaping those headpieces makes me a bit worried, since it involves studying once again new process & techniques (and I already have saltwater etching to learn in saber work soon), were it latex or silicone... ...So, as a backup backup plan I do have Qui-Gon Jinn outfit. My brother-in-law's fiancee is seamstress by trade, so I may have a talk with her the next time we meet. And guide her to the reference libraries at RL site.
